Actually I have a new sql dump
http://mihai.badici.ro/linux/machinet/debian/kolab-3.1.sql 
But this solve some problems in web admin console and is still for 3.1 . I 
don't think your issue is related. Active Sync use the same module as  
roundcube for AdressBook so i suspect roundcube is somehow misconfigured ( is 
that plugin enabled?)

I didn't had time to test the version 3.3 but when i will install it i will 
issue a new sql dump. It is true sometime tables are added in SQL but setup-
kolab is not upgraded.
