Well, just finished the setup of kolab2 beta2 from source on a SuSE 9.0.
"kolab_bootsrap -b"'ed it and used a short hostname (nethat in this case).
Worked perfectly.

I even have to say that I ran into a problem using the FQH wich would have
been nethat.netzkraefte.intra:
The web interface wasn't able to connect to cyrus for some reason. From
/var/log/messages:

Feb 25 11:10:47 nethat kolabd[18498]: Kolab is starting up
Feb 25 11:10:48 nethat perl: No worthy mechs found
Feb 25 11:10:51 nethat kolabd[18498]: Y Error: Unable to authenticate with

Then bootstrapped again and used the short name, leaving the system
operating fine.

Don't know if this behavior is as expected.
