Well i did ask sometime ago elsewhere about this and was told that no 
tld would not be a problem by someone with a working installation who 
also had no tld, but you're the expert.

At the moment i'm just trying to get this working on a LAN. Our 'real' 
domain name resolves to machines in another part of the country. What do 
you suggest i do Martin?
