Question wrt ldapimport/imapsync

Hi all,
I'm currently preparing some scripts to migrate our users from our SuSE
Linux OpenXchange (SLOX) server to kolab (2.0.1) [0]. Fortunately, some kind
soul has left some pointers about migrating account data via LDAP in the Wiki:
http://wiki.kolab.org/index.php/Ldapimport
The first trials were very promising (it really looks as if I can
migrate the account data and mail fully automated - users will only need
to transfer agenda data themselves), but I'm left with one question:
The Wiki-article shows how to make a new user in kolab via LDAP. It
states, however, that "When adding new E-Mail users you will have to
restart the whole kolab2-system cause otherwise the E-Mail-Mailboxes
won't be created (whether IMAP nor POP3) !"
During my trials, however, I found that the IMAP INBOX folder was created
just fine for any user I added via LDAP and a subsequent "imapsync" run
worked without a hitch.
Hence the question: Do I or don't I need to restart all or some of the
kolab2-system after I add a user using LDAP? Knowing this makes a big
difference to the scripts I'm going to create, so an answer would be
very helpful.
Cheerio,
Thomas
[0] yes, I do intend to make a new Wiki-article for that once I have it
working... ;-)
