Kolab Service Does not Start/No Emails Can be Sent/Received

What's in the dirsrv log? Have you tried logging in as "cn=Directory
Manager"? You'll find the password in /etc/kolab/kolab.conf as
option "bind_pw".

My current guess is that the user kolab-service is somehow missing.
