Kolab plus POP3?

Hi Timotheus,
thanks a lot for your fast answer :-D
Added both lines, restarted Cyrus, left firewall untouched (because POP3
will be used by the MFP exclusively and from LAN only) and added a new
Kolab user through kolab-webadmin.
Now - I can easily login with the old users, but the new user cannot be
authenticated. I tried to check via Roundcube, telnet on SMTP, IMAP and
POP3 (and with openssl -starttls as well) - but that won't succeed.
Is there a possibility that the addition of the POP3 causes some weird
problem?
Debian 9 ("stretch) with Kolab 16 from OBS Debian packages, Let'sEncrypt
SSL-certificates, so far running smoothly.
Any hints anyone?
Friedemann

Hello Friedemann,
The Kolab sources only contain the IMAP part of Cyrus - how can I get
a working POP3 server on top of my setup? Any experiences anyone?

Please edit your /etc/cyrus.conf, and add these lines below the
definition of imaps:
pop3 cmd="pop3d" listen="pop3" prefork=3
pop3s cmd="pop3d -s" listen="pop3s" prefork=1'
You need to decide if you permit pop3 (without the s for secure).
Also make sure that your firewall is configured to listen on the pop3
ports: pop3s 995, pop3 110.
I hope this helps,
Timotheus
