Kolab - which version?

Hi,
I'm using kolab since version 2.0a in late 2005.
I always used it on debian system.

Now I need to install a new version and I'm a bit confused reading about
the many versions available.

If I understand correctly now exists:

1) Kolab 3.4
2) Kolab winterfell
3) Kolab Enterpreise 13
4) Kolab Enterpreise 14
5) Kolab Enterpreise 16

Kolab 3.4 is old and not yet maintained

Kolab winterfell - future upgrade are not guaranteed

Kolab Enterpreise 13 was superseded by Kolab Enterpreise 14

Kolab Enterpreise 14 is for production environment and can run on Debian
systems, but a certificate is needed to install it. Is not clear to me
where this certificate come from.

Kolab Enterpreise 16 is the development environment. At the moment can
run only on Centos and RedHat.

So my question is: which version is better to install for a production
environment and on which operative system? Can I still use Debian or
it'd be better to switch to Centos?

Second question: is it possible to upgrade from Kolab 3.4 to Kolab
Enterprise? If yes to which version?

Finally is there documentation to upgrade paths?

I apologize for so many questions, but I found hard to understand the point.

Thanks in advance
