AD Integation

I have read many posts that state Kolab cannot share an active directory
list of users.

I have just found and read the following:

Does this mean I can configure Kolab to integrate with AD and share
accounts between both?

Ideally I would like my Windows users to also be able to use their login
details in Kolab.

Is there anywhere I can read further on this?
