synchronisation with exchange is very slow

I recently installed Kolab on Debian 7 and configured it with Outlook
2013/Win8/Win7 (4 PCs) + 6 android devices with no issues. Active Sync
is super fast here. I'm using a 1GB/SSD VPS server.
