Hello Stelios
in your case you don't really the multi-domain setup. You just need to
add additional domain to your existing domain (so called alias).
Here's a difference between Domain-Alias and Multi-Domain:
1) Multi-Domain:
You run seperated LDAP Directories which have absolutely nothing in
commong. No shared mail addresses, no shared users. Think about 2
different companies that want to exist on the same physical kolab
server, manage their own accounts/mail addresses but don't share nothing
in common apart from the phyiscal server.
Here comes the multidomain howto into play which requires some
background knowledge. Especially about postfix, ldap services, etc.
2) Domain Alias:
*You*'re responsible for several domains where you want to have multiple
alias mail addresses assigned to. Speaking: In your single mailbox you
want to receive mails for myname at example.org, info at example.org,
info at example.de, info at example.net, etc. The Domains are shared across
your instance.
Howto add an additional domain to your existing domain.
* Log Into the Webadmin
* Select "Domains" on top
* Select "yourdomain.org" on the left domain list panel (the domainlist
panel should only include 1 domain! not more).
* In the section "Domainname(s)" click "[+]" in the domain listing.
* add your domain name
* save + be happy
there's no need to change any postfix configuration, roundcube,
whatsoever.
