Multiple domain setup -- Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table

Thanks for the detailed answer Daniel.

In the example you gave without the multi domain setup, how can I test that
I'm actually receiving emails properly before change the MX records as I
wont be able to login with the different email/domain addresses?
