Recommended OS for fresh Kolab 3.x install?

Hi all,

up until now, our Kolab server has always been Debian-based. However, as we're 
still running a 2.x server we decided to make a cut and perform a fresh 
install when moving to 3.x (probably 3.1). I have performed some preliminary 
testing on 3.0 and was using a Debian base system again, but what I have read 
on the lists over Red Hat Enterprise (aka CentOS) being reference as well as 
the issues around Debian packaging has made me wonder: What IS the current 
recommendation when starting with a fresh install? Which distribution can be 
expected to be best supported?

Any insights on this would be much appreciated! :-)
