Got ActiveSync working on kolab 3 but devices are not syncing [Scanned]

My experience using iPhones and iPads with Kolab's Activesync
implementation has been pretty bad, even with the latest syncroton dev
package. I deployed it to 5 iPhone/iPad users and I could never get it
to work quite right on any of them. Problems from not loading contacts
or calendars, delayed in updating messages, not being able to send with
weird server errors, invites being sent with the wrong sender name...
the list just seemed to go on. And unfortunately my limited time
prevented me from diagnosing most the issues and submitting useful bug
reports.

Android phones and tablets on the other hand seem to work pretty good
with only minor glitches (Don't accept an invite from Outlook!).

I'm waiting for the new Kolab CardDAV and CalDAV functionality so I can
try a custom zpush install, but this is clearly not an ideal solution.
