Hi Simon,

I'm not 100% sure but I think that the personal addresses of
roundcubemail are always stored as imap-objects. You can access them
using the bynari connector (single licence 20 bucks or so).
Same for Calendars. Anyway, if you really want to have ldap personal
address books, this should be possible as well.
