The evolution-kolab plugin [0] for Evolution works quite well now
with Kolab2. I've scheduled a 3.6.3 release to be done in the next
few days, which fixes some minor issues. Also, a release which works
with the current development version of Evolution will follow. Alas, ...

...for supporting the Kolab3 server, we would need to implement a new
Kolab format coverter for Evolution. The current one understands Kolab2
format only. While the Evolution community helps with adapting evolution-kolab
to API changes within Evolution and Evolution-Data-Server, we are not
yet funded to implement the Kolab3 format converter for evolution-kolab.
If we were, then the Kolab3 (storage) format could be supported with
Evolution 3.8, I guess. If anyone would provide the funding necessary
to implement Kolab3 support for evolution-kolab, I'd be glad to help
with that.
Kind regards,
