Kolab discards attachment (Roundcube)

Did you try to check in /usr/share/roundcubemail/.htaccess value of the
following variables
php_value       upload_max_filesize     5M
php_value       post_max_size           6M

You should try also in /etc/postfix/main.cf to check message_size_limit
variable.
If it is not specified it should be 10240000  (10MB)
