kontact in debian squeeze.

I'm starting to look into upgrading clients to debian squeeze.
I have been using the kontact in squeeze for a while.

The biggest problem is that kolab-wizard does not  setup contacts.
There seems to be 2 ways to do it.
akonadi: Works but kontact fails to start properly the first time at each log 
in. The second time it runs OK.
Old way:  Works fine.

The simplest thing I can think of is a new wizard that sets it up the old way.
I'm Ok with the idea of putting the organizer information in a database but 
it's got to work and mysql would not be near the top of my choices.

What are the plans?
