annotations.db backup always failing

I've seen some posts regarding this, but no solution.

I tried to do a backup of my annotations file with:

/kolab/bin/cvt_cyrusdb -C /kolab/etc/imap/imapd.conf 
/kolab/var/imapd/annotations.db skiplist /kolab/var/imapd/backup.db flat

And it always fails with a message saying that it failed to mmap......

I've downloaded the skiplist.py file in order to try to create that 
flat-format file, and it seems to be able to create that file that way. 
But if I try to recreate the annotations.db skiplist-format file from my 
flat file, it tells that it tried to restore from what looks like an 
empty file....

I'm still at Kolab 2.2.4

Solution?
