Incoming attachments corrupted

After the server crash, I am now having issues with incoming attachments being 
corrupt.

I can send an attachment from internal user to internal user, however, when 
they come from outside they can't be opened. This applies to pdf and doc files 
so far.

If I get no answer as is the norm for this list, I am willing to pay for 
support, just to have someone actually answer a question.
