I installed this version on my Ubuntu 9.10 box, by adding the
"http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu karmic main"
entry to my apt sources list. The installation went smoothly, but I
cannot use the newly installed Kontact.
I removed everything (I think) related to my old Kontact install from
the ~/.kde and ~/.local folders, and ran "kolabwizard". No problems
there.
Then I start Kontact, and I get a dialogue that the akonadi startup
failed (log attached). When I try to retreive the messages from the
Kolab server, a dialogue reading "Prozess imaps kann nicht gestartet
werden" pops up. No messages from the server are shown.
HELP - what did I do wrong, and how can I again access my Kolab account???
Thanks in advance,
Albrecht.
