Okay, of course. I was too focused on the groupware stuff. It is no
problem to get the IMAP based mail stuff and the LDAP based address
book. You just won't be able to use the groupware data stored in the
Kolab IMAP store. So you'll have to decide if you want to use clients
like Outlook or Kontact (does it support egroupware? -- don't know)
with the Kolab way of storing groupware information or if you use the
egroupware approach of storing stuff in a MySQL db.

Well the main user data is on the first hierarchy level. "internal"
contains some hidden data relevant for groups and so on. I guess this
could also use different structures but I'm no LDAP expert.
