It looks a good idea,
but what about this one

# /kolab/bin/openpkg rc all stop
# cp -a /kolab /kolab.save
# /kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap -b
# mv /kolab /kolab.bootstraped
# mv /kolab.save /kolab
# diff -r /kolab /kolab.bootstraped

migrate what is relevant

# /kolab/bin/openpkg rc all start
