kmail does not see new messages

Hi,

I'm testing out kolab.  My test is at the moment just sending and receiving 
emails.  As email client I use kmail and kmail seems to be configured 
correctly (I used kolabwizard for this).

When I sent email to myself login (test at domain.tld) from the login 
test at domain.tld, I see that the email is being sent and that it is accepted 
by kolab/cyrus.  The message is put in the directory .....t/user/test
The email gets number 1. as at the moment I remove all the emails.  Now when I 
ask kmail to look for new email, it (kmail) reports that there is no new 
email.???

If I check for example with mutt, than I see the new email in the list....

Why doesn't kmail see the new email.  I used the menu function to rebuild the 
cache.  I removed the dimap directory in .kde directory.  But still no new 
emails are being seen by kmail.  Why, hopefully someone knows it????
