Hi Scott,
a file and/or a database server should be possible. The OpenPKG
envrionment requires a number of open ports on your system such as
port 80 for its apache, port 25 for postfix and so on (kolab_bootstrap
will tell you that). So these ports are obviously blocked. All others
can also be occupied by services running in the base system.
