Hi,
I'm trying to get kolab (2.1) working on a fedora core 5 (64bits). Does
anyone has experience with this kind of setup?
I did compile everything successfully, but when I try to set it up
(/kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap -b) it crashes because the OpenLDAP
won't start...
I tried running it by hand (taking the "system()" that kolab_bootstrap
executes) ...
# /kolab/libexec/openldap/slapd -h ldap://127.0.0.1:389/ -f
/kolab/etc/openldap/slapd.conf -u kolab -g kolab -d 3
... and it ends with this message ...
bdb_db_open: unclean shutdown detected; attempting recovery.
bdb_db_open: dbenv_open(/kolab/var/openldap/openldap-data)
bdb(dc=xtech,dc=com,dc=ar): architecture lacks fast mutexes:
applications cannot be threaded
bdb_db_open: Recovery needed but environment is missing - assuming
recovery was done manually...
bdb(dc=xtech,dc=com,dc=ar): architecture lacks fast mutexes:
applications cannot be threaded
bdb_db_open: dbenv_open failed: Invalid argument (22)
backend_startup_one: bi_db_open failed! (22)
The openldap BDB files are not created, but I don't know who's supposed
to create these files.
Any advice will be very appreciated.
regards,
