secure sending problem

After upgrading my mail server (not Kolab) box to Mandriva 2007 I cannot use a 
secure connection anymore for sending mail.
unsecure connection sending still works.
When restarting Kolab, I get:

[root at aargau thomas]# service kolab restart
Stopping kolab backend:                                         [  OK  ]
.
.
.
Starting slapd (ldap + ldaps):                                  [FAILED]
.
.
.

Starting kolab backend (please wait):                           [  OK  ]
[root at aargau thomas]#

looking at the processes, slapd and slurpd are running

On a side note, also proftp doesn't start.

I suspect a certificate problem. Do I need to do a kolab_bootstrap -b?
I think, I will loose my users and e-mail?
I did a kolabconf
