batch delete mail from imap folder

I don't know if this is the kind of solution you are looking for. You could
just set your email client to Auto-Delete Emails that are older than n days
in these two folders (supposing you have the right permissions).
Alternatively using fetchmail, getmail or some other IMAP sync tool with the
correct options should do the trick. This sould also work from a cron job. I
have not tried it though.
