I'll take it that you are using the Synckolab plugin?
There is a specialised mailinglist for it where others might have insights.

Did you every reboot before?
What software is running on the server?
You might have not permanently disabled other services than the Kolab servers. 

You could use netstat to find out what is running on the port now.
