Hi,

Installing Kolab2 on a minimum Fedora 3 installation, only development tools
are selected during the install, fire walling and SELinux are also disabled
during setup:

1) Login as root
2) run the "setup" command and under "System services" disable sendmail.
3) /etc/init.d/sendmail stop
4) Download source.
5) mkdir /tmp/kolab
6) copy the source to /tmp/kolab
7) cd /tmp/kolab
8) sh obmtool kolab
9) Take a break.
10) /kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap -b
11) /kolab/bin/openpkg rc all start

If you want to recover some disk space, after everything is running:
12) rm -rf /tmp/kolab
13) rm /tmp/obmtool-*.log

The only tricky parts to the install is 2, 3, and 10.

During 10 when you are prompted for a host name enter a fully qualified
domain name. E.g. do not enter just "kolab", enter "kolab.test.com".
(Assuming "test.com" is your domain name)

Best regards
