Something is strange in the user creation.
I expect this to be an openpkg problem on mandrake.
Can you correct your goup settings to
kolab:*:19414:kolab
kolab-r:*:19415:kolab-r
kolab-n:*:19416:kolab-n
manually?
If this makes the problem go away, you could better add this to
the platform notes in the wiki. And notify the openpkg people.
I think they will appreciate any help in finding and fixing this bug.

I think the wiki platform notes would be the best place to document
your manual corrections until somebody can fix this bugs within openpkg.
