I used it first, but lsof does not give me interesting indicator 
(actually this is a fixed value)  ...
Even this is not the most realistic, I use netstat which give me a nice 
"stress level indicator", also known as "OE torture test" :)

After looking a little the way OE manage IMAP, I wonder is it's possible
