Distribution List Slows server problem...

I've noticed that too when e-mail sent to DL has huge attachment.(say 10mb)
No problems with text only messages, they are processed very fast.

Kolabmailboxfilter (php) will proccess same message for each reciepent from
DL.

We have created a distribution list to all the users in the
Kolab2 system, roughly 300 users.

When we send any message, wiht attachment or simple text,
it *drastically* slows down our server. We are running a
pretty beefy machine so this seems strange to me.

Has anyone experienced this sort of performance issue? Is
this a know issue?

I have some thoughts but wanted to post the basic question
first.
