Shall alarms of tasks fire when done?

Think about a task and a reminder set.
You finish the task early and then you set it to completed (=100%).

Shall the alarm then continues to be set?

(It just happened to me with the Kolab1 KDE client and it felt strange,
because I immedeately though: Aaarg, I thought I did this already. )
With that experience my anwers tends to be no. ;-)
What do others say?
