I have the same problem as you but that didn't have any effect on my Kolab.
If you start Kolab, do you have any errors ?
But this is on my client (debian sarge) where I tested the installation
and where it works, on my server (debian woody) after this output I have
the following error :
Use of uninitialized value in print at
/kolab/lib/perl/vendor_perl/5.8.3/Kolab.pm line 153, <DATA> line 283.
Can't call method "attributes" on an undefined value at
/kolab/lib/perl/vendor_perl/5.8.3/Kolab.pm line 154, <DATA> line 283.
Compilation failed in require at /kolab/sbin/kolabconf line 33, <DATA>
line 283.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /kolab/sbin/kolabconf line 33,
<DATA> line 283.
After search, it seems that LDAP don't return information to Net::LDAP
object and that's why the method "attributes" is undefined but I do not
know what misses on my Debian woody and that there is on my Debian Sarge
which would make the difference for kolabconf and the Net::LDAP perl object.
