unable to create mailbox on ZfOS snapshot 20040407002609

Hi,

I just installed Kolab ZfOS snapshot 20040407002609 on one of our client's 
machines. Everything went well until I created a new user:

Aug 23 12:01:20 mail kolabd[30231]: Y Warning: Unable to create mailbox 
`user/hh at domain.tld', Error = `Permission denied'

I double-checked the directory permissions and everything seems to be fine. I 
can't find any config file related problems, either.

I tried to set the environment variable CYRUS_VERBOSE to 29 and I also created 
the directory /kolab/var/imapd/log/manager at domain.tld but that doesn't yield 
any useful information, either.

There is one strange thing, though: if I un-dump a mailboxes.db dump file with 
"ctl_mboxlist -u" and then run the "listmailbox" from cyradm, it doesn't list 
any mailboxes. That command should work even if the mailbox directory doesn't 
exist?!?!?!

Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?
