Kolab 1.0.14 and 2.1.0 LDAP Error on UTF-8

Just addition of today. I have installed Kolab 2.1.0 for FC2.
Installation was correct for /etc/passwd & group and is running.
However, there is till same error with adding of new Addressbook items
(new vCards) when I am using our UTF-8 national characters. Some
combination are accepted, some (like example below) not.
Does anybody know and help how to reconfigure LDAP or Kolab to accept
UTF-8 ?
I hope it is not LDAP bug.

I have already installed and tested Kolab 1.0.14 on FC2 using redhat9
packages.
It was easy within few minutes :)
For those who are interested in what to change - they can write me
email.
It is possible to write ASCII names which I accessed through LDAP using
Mac Mail and Entourage. I have to say Kmail 1.6.2 on FC2 had problems
and did not accessed them through LDAP. Worse thing is Kolab (or better
say LDAP) not handle properly UTF-8 characters, on entry of Name
including our national characters it finished like:
LDAP Error, could not add object cn=Nataša
Čloženšičiková,cn=external,dc=...
Invalid DN syntax
(on ASCII interpretation cn=Natasa Clozensicikova)
/etc/sysconfig/i18n
LANG="sk_SK.UTF-8"
Without support of our alphabet it is useless of course.
I have downloaded latest 2.1.0 and going to install and test.
Or do you have better idea? On case 2.1.0 works fine with UTF-8 do you
estimate problems with KDE PIM 3.3 ?
Best regards,
Tomas
