Hi Jesse,

Only in Outlook 2003 SP2 has the Microsoft moved from object identification
to recurrence identification of events. They have been moving in that
direction for a time now, but have struggled with one of their own rules
that each object must have a unique identifier.

They have now introduced an event id in the appointment objects, this is to
bind all exceptions of one appointment together. They have had this event id
now for some time, I think from OL2002, but now it seems that they are
actually using it.

The only problem with introducing this in the Toltec Connector is that older
versions of Outlook either does not know about this event id or does not
manage it correctly. Implementing this is the current software may/will beak
support for Outlook 2000/2002/XP/2003SP1.

Best regards
