Richard:
I'd like to keep the Kolab developers in the loop otherwise they think it's all fine.

I have no problem to start apache (actually apache start automatically
here it's systemctl start httpd

and 

systemctl start dirsrv at vbox
I called my box vbox.btspuhler.com

but systemctl enable dirsrv at vbox isn't working because the relevant systemd file is missing. It 
should be provided by the setup-kolab script I believe.

I can also see the whole dirsrv using 389-console
