The next major release, I think, would be Kolab 3.0(.0), whereas 2.3 would 
merely contain additional features (and be a minor release).

Since the upgrade path (for Cyrus) from 2.3.x to 2.4.x is not seamless under 
certain circumstances, I think we'll have to wait with shipping Cyrus 2.4 
given that the timeline for 2.3 is too short to cover all major deployment 
cases and upgrade paths for Kolab consumers, and document them properly.

Ultimately though, it really is Christoph's decision whether or not to ship 
Cyrus 2.4 with Kolab 2.3 or 3.0.
