tested with Kontact e35 20091211.1061424-kk1

Test:
1. Send a mail to yourself with an € (Euro) symbol in the subject and sync.
2. Start to create a task.
3. D'n'D the Euro mail to the attachment field of the task and choose copy to.
4. Look at the name of the attached mail.
=> The name of the attached mail is confusing
