[Kolab-devel] support for Kolab in Thunderbird??

Some articles in the Internet press are stating that Mozilla is going to spend 
more time on developing Thunderbird (see e.g. 
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/12/05/thunderbird_future/).  
Would they (Mozilla) be interested in adding support for Kolab to Thunderbird?
