There are some places, where a date is displayed without a weekday.
It would be nice when the weekday is added.
At the moment it is e.g. Date: 2009-08-13 should be Date: Thu, 2009-08-13
(In German should be "Datum: Do, 13.8.2009") 

Observed in:
date in the event view.
date in the tooltip of an event.
