After a talk with Bernhard we think that the following should be done:

1. Freeze now, so I can concentrate on packaging, upgrading and
   other release preparations.

2. Get out 2.2.1-beta1 as soon as possible, depending on above work
packages this will be end of next week or the first week of
   December.

3. If this beta works as good as we hope, we have a release in
December, otherwise there will be a release candidate first.

As the web client (Horde) received the most feature enhancements,
this needs the most testing, e.g. if dimp's Kolab features work fine
and if SyncML is usable.

Many packages got shuffled around, but after beta1 the package list
is final to give native packagers (and us) a chance to catch up with
e.g. upgrading issues.

Regards,
Thomas Arendsen Hein
