New submission from Bo Thorsen <bo at thorsen-consulting.dk>:
We're running a 2.2 rc2 here, and the spamassassin isn't doing too well. I
haven't caught it hitting mails it shouldn't (which is really good), but it only
marks about half the spam mails.
When looking at the output from spamassassin, it has something like this:
X-Spam-Flag: NO
X-Spam-Score: 5.779
X-Spam-Level: *****
X-Spam-Status: No, score=5.779 tagged_above=3 required=6.3
As you can see, it says a score of 6.3 is required, but in
/kolab/etc/spamassassin/local.cf, it says this:
required_score 5.0
There are other hints that makes me wonder if spamassassin is using the setup
files at all.
In amavis/amavisd.conf, this is found:
$sa_tag2_level_deflt = 6.3; # add 'spam detected' headers at that level
It might be that there is no bug here, but the local.cf should just have a note
that amavis overrides the required score instead of having a number that isn't
actually used.
