Once you've created your dist_conf file (examples are at:
http://kolab.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs-kolab.cgi/server/kolabd/kolabd/dist_conf/) 
the answer is YES!  I think that creating a dist_conf file is rather easy for 
you, as you know Mandriva very well.  As such it is just a fill in the almost 
known values at the right place exercise.  After this creating rpms of it, is 
just a simple matter of: ./configure --with-dist=mandriva; make; make 
install ;)  In other words, it is simple to stay in sync with kolab's latest 
and greatest developments.  As Marcus already stated, have a look at his rpms 
at: http://repos.opensuse.org/server:/Kolab/openSUSE_10.2/src/
