Hello!

After some corrections there is now a first release of Horde RPMS
available for the Kolab2 OpenPKG platform.

You will find instructions how to install Horde on your Kolab2 server
in the Kolab wiki:

http://wiki.kolab.org/index.php/Kolab2_Installation_-_Horde

In an ideal case the following two statements should be sufficient to
get Horde correctly installed and configured:

wget http://build.pardus.de/downloads/kolab-horde-tmp/k2-horde.sh
sh k2-horde.sh

Please note that this is still a very early release and there are no
guarantees that this will install a working horde version. There is
also no guarantee that this won't harm your existing Kolab2
installation. So you should only do this on an experimental machine.

The installation script available at
http://build.pardus.de/downloads/kolab-horde-tmp/k2-horde.sh will
install the basic PEAR requirements, the horde framework packages and
all necessary horde groupware packages (horde, imp, ingo, nag, mnemo,
kronolith, turba, passwd). The script will not yet tamper with your
kolab-resource-handler package, the kolab-horde-fbview, or the
kolab-webadmin package. This will follow in the next release.

p at rdus will continue to release OpenPKG RPMS of the current Horde CVS
version until horde.org releases stable packages with the newest
patches. Part of the RPMS offered will be included into Kolab CVS at a
later time (the replacements for the current kolab-horde-* packages
and the kolab-resource-handlers).

Please submit any bugs you find either with the RPMs or the Horde
installation itself into the kolab bug tracker at
https://intevation.de/roundup/kolab. Make sure you add the keyword
"horde" to your bug.

Cheers,

Gunnar
