Split out from kolab/issue1288 (Printing appointment misses place).   
   
from msg8532: 
d) created another appointment with very long topic and very long place.  
Observation: Topic is there and line broken, but the end of the field   
is reached and information is flowing over so the place is not visivle   
anymore.  
  
Expectation: Ellidation should be used to lower chances prevent that   
information is flowing over and not visible anymore.  
Idea: try to use a rough estimation about if the field is filled.  
  
e)created another appointment.  
Observation: It is not shown anymore, because of d).
