Kontact proko2.1.5 on SuSE 10.0:

Over the past few days, I've had several users reporting the following: They
create an appointment (or accept an invitation). The appointment shows up in the
calendar, then suddenly vanishes after a few minutes (presumably during the
first sync with the server). I have seen this phenomenon myself two days ago - I
tried to copy an appointment to another week and it just would not show up. A
second appointment I had just accepted as an invitation also vanished shortly after.

What I could see so far is that the appointments *do* get stored on the server -
at least in three cases, I was able to find them in the Calendar folder of the
user's IMAP spool. Re-starting Kontact brought all those appointments back,
which also confirms that they were not actually deleted.

For completeness' sake: I am not entirely certain whether this is a Kontact
problem or a server problem - we updated Kontact from proko2.1.4-5something
(SVN) to proko2.1.5 about a week ago and updated our server from 2.0.4 to
2.1beta2 last Monday. The first user reports came in on Tuesday, so it could be
either of the two. I can try downgrading one of the workstations to proko2.1.4
on Monday and see whether that helps. If you need any other input from me,
please let me know - this is quite a pressing problem as our users start
doubting the reliability of the agenda system. :-(
