New submission from Torsten Irländer <torsten.irlaender at intevation.de>:
Kontact uses RFC2231 as default filename encoding which is not understood by
Outlook (filenames are renamed by Outlook in some generic filename). Therfore
Kontact provides option for "outlook compatible attachment
naming" found under Settings->Kmail->Composer->Attachements->"Outlook
compatible attachement naming" Enabling this option leads to RFC2047 encoding
used used and understood by outlook.
As Outlook is a wide spreaded MUA my proposal would be to enable this
compatibility option on default, when creating new account with kolabwizard.
What do you think?
