I also hope we can!
If a branch will help you with that, we can create one without problems.
It might be a step forward, as you can just commit to it unless things
are working fine and then we have another beta round with server 2.2.
It is just that a stable version with simple email support is badly needed
and I even think we should not fix larger bugs, because of this.

It does, but here again: The better might be the problem of the good.
Kolab Server is working very nicely for many people and the current simple
email multidomain will also.
Why putting this on the line? If we can have the improvements and other bug
fixes quite fast after this?

It would be nice, true.
But it is better to have simple email multidomain now and then gain more users
and later announce it,
then to wait 2 month or only loose one enterprise customer in putting it in
too quickly, I think.
We should find a solution that is not blocking your very nice contributions
and have a stable email simple multidomain Kolab Server very soon.
